What we collect

• Quiz answers stay in your browser. We don't receive them unless you choose to email yourself the checklist.
• Email signup: your email, state, and optionally who you care for and whether they may have Medicaid or VA coverage. We also record when and where you signed up and the consent wording you saw, and for EU/UK visitors your country, to handle confirmation.
• Purchases are processed by Stripe. We receive your email and order details, never your full card number.
• Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics (no cookies, no cross-site tracking) plus anonymous counts of actions like "signed up" or "clicked buy". These counts include no personal information.

How we use it

To send what you asked for (your checklist, rule-change alerts, the newsletter) and occasional offers for our own guides and templates. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Our email provider is Resend, our payment processor is Stripe, and our hosting provider is Cloudflare. They process data on our behalf.

Sharing and "sale" of personal information

We do not sell or share your personal information. The one exception is if you separately check a box asking us to connect you with a caregiving agency in your state. In that case we share your name, email and state only with the partners named on that form, and only for that purpose. Currently named partners: none. We have not shared anyone's information yet.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, at any time. Email partners@paidtocare.org or use our Do Not Sell or Share page. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, and EU/UK residents have rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to their data protection authority. Our legal basis for marketing email is your consent. We keep subscriber data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and keep purchase records as long as the law requires.
